POW -- Passage of the Week
Each week, we will focus on a different passage from the Scriptures. These will be randomly chosen by God (if He really does anything random LOL) and will be posted here on or before each Monday. THe POWs are in chronological order from top to bottom.

Revelation 21:5
Week of 09/01/2025
Our POW for this week is Revelation 21:5. Jesus is speaking from the Throne in Heaven and tells us that He is making everything new. I felt it was appropriate as we begin this new journey in Ceri's Godspirations. Praying for His blessing on this new adventure.

John 8:12; Matthew 5;14
Week of 09/08/2025
Jesus is clear about the fact that He is the Light of the world. It is one of the I AM statements in the Gospel of John. But He also tells us that we are to go out and shine His Light to the world.

Nehemiah 8:10
Week of 09/15/2025

John 14:6
Week of 09/22/2025
This verse was/is my confirmation verse, so it holds a special place in my heart. When God put it on my heart to have this be the POW, I didn't even ask if He was sure -- I just jumped at the opportunity. :) I can't wait to see where He leads us this week ...
Blessings, :) Ceri

Esther 4:14
Week of 09/29/2025
I have always loved the Book of Esther. I've often wondered what I would have done if I were in her place. I also marvel at the fact that, while this is the only book where God is not mentioned directly, it is very apparent that He is very much in control. Can't wait to see where He is going to lead us this week -- maybe not where we think!

Matthew 19:26
Week of 10/06/2025
Isn't this a great verse for us to remember? How often do we go to God last instead of first because we forget that He is Almighty, All-Knowing, and All-Powerful? The ESV Translation is probably more familiar to us: But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Praying that God will lead us to a place of remembering who HE is and what HE is capable of.

Philippians 4:4
Week of 10/13/2025
Is this not the coolest picture of joy overflowing and celebration? When I saw this on Canva I knew I had to use it -- and the Passion Translation of Philippians 4:4 is perfect. No matter our circumstances, we are to celebrate the Joy of Jesus in our hearts. Wondering where God is going to take us with this this week. Stay tuned ...
Blessings, Ceri

Working As For the Lord
Week of 10/20/2025
Happy Monday, Everyone. This week's POW is one that I'm thinking we don't often believe relates to us. It's fine for pastors and deaconesses and other ministry leaders, but not for us. But we are all called to do God's work right where we are every day. Let's ponder on that this week and see where God takes us. Blessings, Ceri

Romans 1:17
Week of 10/27/2025
Happy Monday, Everyone! :) At the end of the week, much of the world will celebrate Halloween. And, yes, for the record, I'll have candy for all the kiddos who come knocking on the door. I'll even meet them on the porch. :) But most importantly on that day, I will be celebrating the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. This week's POW is the verse that gave Martin Luther his "AHA" moment and changed his life -- and the lives of millions of others. :) God will surely be leading this week ...
Blessings :) Ceri

Fanning the Flame of Faith
Week of 11/03/2025
Happy Monday, Everyone! I love this passage from Scripture. It makes me think of Pentecost (which is my favorite festival ). Can you imagine what our world would be like if every Christian fanned their faith into flame? I think it would be more than incredible!
Blessings and Love, Ceri

John 8:36
Week of 11/10/2025
Happy Monday, Everyone. This week we will be celebrating Veteran's Day. God gave me this passage to remember the Freedom that we have in Christ. The freedom we have in the United is because of the blood shed by members of our armed forces. The Freedom we have in Christ is because of the Blood shed by Jesus on the Cross. Much more important Freedom, don't you think? Blessings, Ceri
Many thanks to Brian Lay for allowing me to use this photo for our POW this week.
