Beyond Your Wildest Dreams
Happy Wednesday, Everyone. đ How wild is your imagination? What is the most incredible thing you can think of that you would want? Now multiply that by a bazillion and that is the size of Godâs imagination. Pretty huge, huh?
Â
I love this passage because it lets us know that God is so much bigger than we can fathom. And He lives powerfully yet quietly in each and every one of us. We just donât tap into that as often as we should â maybe never.
Â
We have a tendency to limit God to our own human limits. This spills over into our prayers, too. We ask in prayer for those things that humans can deliver. But this is God we are praying to â and Heâs so much bigger than that.
Â
God invites us to pray BIG. To ask Him for things that in our humanity we could never obtain or accomplish. But if you are like me, I think that is hard sometimes. Maybe we feel like we are being greedy. But God is an extravagant, loving God and wants us to have it all â blessing upon blessing.
Â
I remember when I was a VBS Director. The first year we had 25 kiddos and we had a blast. I accepted the offer to repeat. I prayed that we would have just one more kiddo the following year. We had 50 kiddos show up. Our God is AMAZING. And He had me scrambling to make sure we had enough materials for everyone. đ
Â
Yup, our God delivers beyond all we can ask or imagine â beyond our wildest dreams. And He does it with Love and Joy. His work in us takes place at the deepest level of our souls and His love for us spills out into everything we receive and do in His name.Â
Â
I canât imagine serving any other God. Who else gives us all that we need and so much more? Who else loves us enough to send His Son to die for us? Who else is so extravagant with everything? Remember to PRAY BIG and watch God work! đÂ
Â
Blessings and Love, đ Ceri
