Steadfast Faithful Love

Happy Wednesday, Everyone! 😊 I love the words and the promise of this passage. 😊 God makes it very clear that no matter what else happens – even something as catastrophic as mountains crumbling – His love will never be shaken.

I don’t know about you, but these words bring great joy and comfort to my heart.

I have a beautiful view of the White Tank Mountains as I look out my office window. I take for granted that every day, they will be there. They are not only beautiful but they remind me of the steadfastness of God. The mountains remind me of strength and refuge – protection.

To imagine them crumbling is too much for even my vivid imagination. To have them flattened is incomprehensible. But here God is, leaving the door open for that to happen. That would be a wild day, indeed, and one that could lead to some doubt and fear and anxiety.

But even as He talks of mountains crumbling and hills disappearing, He also comforts with the reassurance that His heart, His steadfast, faithful love, won’t ever disappear. His love and compassion will never give up on us – that’s you and me, friends. 😊 

What a beautiful testament to the love and grace and mercy that God shows to us all the time. I’m hanging on to this, not only for this week, but for always – and am praying that you will, too. 😊
